I’d say the 12:4, and 12:9 Predator Revo Shaft are mainly for a regular advanced player. Which Skill Would Benefit From Predator Revo Shaft Uni-Loc & Radial Joint Shafts + Revo Cleaning Wipes If you are a quick fire player who makes use of jump and break shafts then the Uni-loc quick release might be more suited for you. the connections between the butt and shaft feels more secure and the dink sound you get from using a Predator Revo shaft is reduced. I don’t know if it makes a difference to your play, but i find with a Uni-loc pin, it isn’t as stable as the Radial pin joint. The Uni-loc pin is inserted to secure the two ends together, quick and simple. As the name suggests, Uni-loc quick release joints allow for a quick butt to shaft connection and therefore favor many players who just want to get playing. Uni-loc vs Radial Joint: There is a debate as to which joint is better, ill give you my two cents. As with the 12.9, the 12.4 also has a very low front-end mass which helps reduce cue ball squirt. The smaller tip does make it easier to visualize where on the cue ball you need to strike and if the tip is well rounded you should be able to achieve excellent spin. The 12.9 has an extremely light front end mass which, together with its super straight and stiff shaft makes for an excellent extremally low deflection shaftġ2.4 Shaft: This shaft has a smaller cue tip surface area, meaning more precision is needed to make it more suited to advanced players. It has a larger cue tip surface area which aids in making easier shots with more precision. ![]()
